The Major League Baseball Hall of Fame election results have been loaded with controversy since ESPN host Dan Le Batard gave his vote to Deadspin.com. I gave my thoughts on that decision on my show “Last Call” Thursday night. Le Batard insulted those who have a vote for the Hall of Fame, as well has other media members across the nation who deserve to have a vote, but don’t.

The Deadspin vote reflected a lot of what the baseball writers thought as well prompting many fans to believe that anyone could vote for the Hall of Fame. I scoff at that notion as someone who has been in the media for close to a decade, I don’t feel qualified to vote for the Hall of Fame. I chastise Le Batard and explain why the writers who have votes do a good job at picking the right people.
