Baltimore County Police Investigate Motel Shooting

WOODLAWN, Md. (AP) -- Baltimore County Police are investigating a shooting that occurred at a Motel 6 in the Woodlawn area.

Police say officers found an 18-year-old male victim in a parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound in the lower back early Sunday morning.

Investigators say he had been attending a birthday party for a friend at the motel when he was shot.

Police say the suspects fled the scene and have not been found.

The victim was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call police.
