O'Malley Pays Up, Delivers Crab Cakes To North Dakota After Towson Loss

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) -- Maryland's governor has settled a football wager and had a box of crab cakes delivered to the North Dakota governor's office.

Gov. Jack Dalrymple received the special delivery Wednesday from Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley. The two governors had a friendly bet on the outcome of the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision title game earlier this month.

North Dakota State won that game over Maryland's Towson University.

O'Malley paid up with a package of crab cakes from Baltimore-based Faidley's.

Dalrymple had wagered a case of North Dakota-made Dreamfields low-carb pasta.
