Championship weekend was a great one as the Broncos and Seahawks will play in Super Bowl XLVIII. Former Raven and host on 98.5 The Sports Hub in Boston, Mike Flynn joined Zinno to break it all down. Flynn thinks that the two best teams are playing in the biggest game and that’s the way it should be.
Flynn also spoke about Peyton Manning’s legacy and that the outcome of the Super Bowl won’t affect it. “He’s probably the greatest of all time,” Flynn said. Manning will try and win his second Super Bowl. In the NFC, Seattle beat Colin Kaepernick and the 49ers. “I think Kaepernick got exposed late. They guy doesn’t read defenses great,” said Flynn.
Finally, Richard Sherman made headlines with his postgame interview. “It’s just a reaction. I’ve seen that. I’ve seen players do that,” Flynn said. “It doesn’t bother me that much.” Sherman and the Seahawks secondary will now have to deal with Peyton Manning and all those recievers on the NFL’s biggest stage.
