The latest waves of bitterly cold air have arrived in the East and prompted yet another Wind Chill Advisory for Maryland’s northern counties for wind chills 5-15 degrees below zero. The advisory goes into effect at midnight and is set to expire at noon on Wednesday.
In other weather news… snow will continue to spread across the deep south Tuesday causing treacherous road conditions, airport delays & cancellations, as well as power outages. The major impacts from this developing storm-system should stay well to our south and east, though. As seen in the watches and warnings above, portions of the Delmarva, Virginia and southern Maryland are under either a Winter Weather Advisory or Winter Storm Warning.
We will see very little snow here in central Maryland. In fact, we will be lucky if we get a full inch! Areas well south and east of Baltimore City will enjoy the bitter cold, along with a few inches of the white stuff.
