Man Charged With Impersonating Police Officer In Prostitution Sting

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- A man is arrested for posing as a police officer during a prostitution sting in Anne Arundel County.

Police say Steven Gravley Jr., 27, answered an Internet ad that officers had placed as part of the sting.

Officers say he arrived with a BB gun, wearing a shirt with a gold badge on the front.

They believe he intended to rob the prostitute, but found the officers instead.

He's charged with police impersonation, attempted robbery and prostitution.
