WEATHER BLOG: Mild Weekend

Looks like a lot of interesting and active weather coming up for at least the next week with a few storm systems to affect the area. Good news is we are in for mild weather Saturday and Sunday. High pressure sitting near the coast of New Jersey and precip ahead of the low developing out in the middle of the country is fizzling this far south and east...and we will not have to worry about that. In, fact, we should have breaks in the clouds with lots of sun coming in the afternoon.

Lower level moisture might try to increase from the south, but still no major worries for precip as anything light and spotty that breaks out Saturday night will slide up closer to the ocean and clip the Eastern Shore. The center of the developing low pressure area will be near Detroit, and near Montreal Sunday morning and we will warm even more ahead of the cold front trailing that low Sunday. Looks like there might be a little sun at times Sunday, but in general, mostly cloudy. With a lack of upper level support and a thinning and not impressive moisture band with the front, there will be no widespread precipitation, but a few spots may have a short duration shower with the front Sunday afternoon.
