FREDERICK, Md. (AP) — The Frederick County Public Schools are launching a new notification system for parents to check for school bus delays.
School officials say a new system launching Monday will give parents real-time information online and through a free mobile app about school bus delays. It will display the bus number, the length of the delay and the schools affected.
Bus delays will appear on the site if they are running 15 minutes late or longer.
The school system says it’s the first district in the state to launch the new system for parents to check for bus delays.
