WEATHER BLOG: Calm After The Storm

After a truly amazing, unforgettable storm has left much of the Greater Baltimore Area with around a foot of snow, we're noticing that the sky has cleared rapidly early Friday morning.

There will be some sun and the temperature should reach the upper 30s and lower 40s Friday afternoon. However, that low pressure system which is located in Michigan (the "clipper") is destined to dive to the south and east Friday afternoon and evening. It will provide us with some light snowfall Friday night and early Saturday, which should not exceed a couple of inches.

Saturday night and Sunday, however, will be colder behind this "clipper," and Presidents' Day should be dry. There could be some rain, or a "mixed bag" on Monday night and Tuesday, but we continue to preach the trend that during the course of next week, it will ultimately be turning milder.

Have a good weekend!!
