HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) — Fire officials say a man and a dog were burned in an explosion in a mobile pet grooming trailer in Funkstown.

Funkstown Volunteer Fire Company Chief David Fraley tells The Herald-Mail of Hagerstown that the explosion occurred about 8:25 a.m. Monday outside a home on Warm Spring Court.

Fraley said the man was taken to a hospital and the dog was taken to a vet’s office.

The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
