Ravens Expected To Announce Contract Extension With Suggs
Ozzie Newsome and Terrell Suggs were rumored to be in meetings to find a way to work around Suggs' contract which had him earning $7.8 million base this year. Some were guessing he might be released. Most were hoping Suggs would renegotiate to extend his stay in Baltimore but lessen his impact on the salary cap.
The Baltimore Sun is reporting that the Ravens have reached an agreement on a contract extension with the Ravens defensive veteran leader. The details of that extension are expected to be announced at noon from the Under Armour Performance Center in Owings Mills on Monday.
