WEATHER BLOG: Mild Saturday

A mostly sunny and breezy day with mild temperatures. With a good amount of mixing expected Saturday afternoon, we expect afternoon highs near 60.

For Saturday night, a few clouds filter in and then clouds increase more quickly Sunday out ahead of a quick moving surface low center and shortwave that will quickly swing through our area Sunday night.

Out ahead of this system, it will be another mild day. Showers will blossom to our west/northwest Saturday night and Sunday across the Midwest and then keep moving east toward us through the afternoon into the night. So, we have a shower in the forecast Sunday afternoon and a better chance during the evening into the first part of the night that could end as some wet snow as colder air filters in later.
