WEATHER BLOG: Cold Days Ahead

The afternoon will be windy and cold with sunshine at times.

Thursday, a system should pass mainly to the north with some flurries and snow showers from Pennsylvania up through New England, but little fanfare for us.

High pressure settles in for Friday before things get messy during the course of the weekend and into early next week.

After the clouds break for some sun this afternoon and the wave of low pressure responsible for the snow heads into the Atlantic, our wind will tend to pick up.

This will make temperatures that are actually in the mid 30s feel more like they're in the teens at times!

Wednesday night will turn out clear and cold with less wind. Cold air will be getting reinforced on Friday, and then we have to watch for a sloppy mixture of snow, sleet and rain that can begin as early as Sunday and drag into the first part of next week.
