The short term forecast is a distinct reminder that the season is poised to change. The other reminder, set your clock ahead one hour before you go to bed tonight…we Spring ahead for Daylight Saving Time this weekend.
Through the first week of March, we have been 12.0 degrees below average and have yet to climb any higher than 45 (45 on the 2nd). Normal high today is 51 and normal low is 31. Today will be a much milder day with more sun than clouds to start, before more mid and high clouds show up this afternoon. This out ahead of the front that crosses the area tonight. That front will bring a spotty rain or snow shower, but there will be no big precip event. Some places will stay dry and the spots that do have a sprinkle or flurry will not have it very long. Chillier tomorrow, but not bad compared to where we have been. Expect a brisk breeze from the northwest and highs in the mid 40’s. There will be more sunshine than clouds with dry air behind the front and temperatures will probably drop back below normal. We are set for some much milder weather as we head through Monday and Tuesday with highs rising into the 60 degree range.
