Aaron Wilson covers the Ravens for the Baltimore Sun, and the NFL for National Football Post.

Aaron joined Ed & Steve to talk about free agency kicking off in the NFL today at 4pm.

Steve asked Aaron about Rolando McClain and if the Ravens would be interested in allowing McClain to return to the NFL. Aaron said the Ravens would have a degree of interest because Daryl Smith doesn’t have a contract yet. Aaron said that while there is not a heavy market for Smith there is no guarantee he will return to Baltimore.

Aaron went on to say that the Ravens and Eugene Monroe are working to try to get a deal done before 4 pm today. Aaron said the market is not heavy for Monroe and that other tackles have surpassed him and may make him return to the Ravens.

When asked for a name the Ravens may target Aaron said he doesn’t know a certain name but that the Ravens may move on wide receivers after they get the tackle situation settled.
