Scott and Jeremy were live from the Ed Block Courage Awards this Monday and were joined by several notable guests, many of who were current and former NFL superstars.
First to join Scott and Jeremy was NFL Analyst Greg Cosell. Greg discussed the impact of the draft being moved back a month to May, and how the QBs eligible for this years draft are looking. Follow Greg on twitter @GregCosell
Houston Texans linebacker and Ed Block award winner Brian Cushing was next to join the show to talk about what it means to receive the Ed Block Courage Award. “Thats what it’s all about is the respect of your peers and the guys that see you work day in and day out. For them to give you the honor and acknowledgement is kind of special.”
Next up was Pressbox online writer Joe Platania. Platania joined the duo to discuss the Ravens off season and to give it an early grade.
All-Pro Wide receiver was the Atlanta Falcons representative to receive the Ed Block award. He discussed what receiving the award means to him and how his recovery is coming along after the injury he suffered last season.
Former Baltimore Raven and Current Indianapolis Colt defensive lineman Cory Redding stopped by to speak with Scott and Jeremy to mainly talk about how important and humbling it is to be receive an award that is voted on upon your peers. Cory also spoke shortly about his time with the Baltimore Ravens and looking back fondly on the time spent in Baltimore.
Last but not least to join Scott and Jeremy was Baltimore native and former Dallas Cowboy Calvin Hill. Hill talked about his experience with choosing to go to Yale and the impact football had on his life.
