Area of low pressure tracks from just north of Lake Erie right now to near the coast of Maine Saturday evening. That puts us on the warm side of the track of the low. The cold front will slip in Saturday afternoon with winds turning out of the southwest in the morning and then west to northwest in the afternoon and Saturday night.
Nice warming for us with temps expected before they start to fall Saturday afternoon. That, combined with intervals of sun and increasing westerly flow, should push surface temperatures in the middle to upper 60s. Also, moisture sparse on the south side of the track of the low and with westerly flow picking up, the chance for any brief shower along the front early Saturday afternoon seems small. The colder air gradually comes in the evening and we will be brisk and much chillier Sunday.
