WEATHER BLOG: Spring Weekend—Finally
Nice conditions, but moderate pressure gradient midday and afternoon so it will become windy with gusts to 35 mph. There can still be some clouds at times, but, in general, a mix or intervals of clouds and sun early with the drier air and downsloping eventually winning out this afternoon. Temperatures will be up from yesterday, but the wind will keep it from feeling too pleasant this afternoon. Those temperatures will be right around average highs for the date (near 61 degrees), so we probably reach a high right around 4 pm. As the center of the high slides into Pennsylvania tonight and we lose the mixing, winds will settle down this evening and temperatures tonight will fall about 5 degrees to the chilly side of normal with a clear sky. That high pressure area will promote sunshine tomorrow. After the chilly start, and with no significant wind, temperatures will rebound to about average making for a nice afternoon.
