Nice weather for the end of the weekend with high pressure in control. Bright sunshine will lead to a nice and comfortable afternoon with temps topping out near normal as the high center slides eastward across the area and then off to our east Sunday night and Monday, paving the way for the next storm system to affect the area.
Storm center develops over east Texas and tracks northeast causing increasing clouds followed by periods of rain on Monday and Monday night. Looks like rainfall will probably average 0.50-1.00 inches across the region. The storm will pass well to the north on Tuesday and its associated cold front will shift east early Tuesday so drier with clouds and breaks of sun and maybe a passing shower. Trailing upper level trough will cross the area later Tuesday night or early Wednesday then shift east on Wednesday so cooler and breezy with clouds and sun. High pressure passes by to the south later next week providing a warmer southwest flow with sunshine on Thursday, then the next cool front crosses the region Friday with some clouds and a possible shower but still warm.
