WJZ Sports Director To Receive Old Hilltop Award For Excellence In Horse Racing Coverage

BALTIMORE (WJZ)— One of WJZ's own will be honored at this year's Preakness media awards.

WJZ-TV sports director Mark Viviano will take home the Old Hilltop Award for excellence in thoroughbred racing coverage.

Viviano will be working his 17th Preakness next month.

Honorees will be presented with awards on May 15 at the Alibi Breakfast at Pimlico Race Course.
