Baltimore Arena Manager Frank Remesch On UFC 172

Frank Remesch is in his 10th year as the General Manager at the Baltimore Arena.

On Saturday, April 26th, Jon Jones, the youngest UFC Champion, will fight Glover Texieria at the Baltimore Arena.

It has taken Remesch almost six years to get the fight at the arena. The UFC 172 fight is the biggest sporting event the arena has ever had.

Over 13,000 tickets have been sold and 100 more seats could be released this coming week. The event is expected to bring in a $25 million profit for the city.

"This is the super bowl of the UFC this year, " Remesch said.

The morning of the fight the city is shutting down the street around the arena for a free festival starting at 2:30 pm where Forrest Griffin, Chuck Liddell and others will be signing autographs.

The main event doors open at 5:15 pm and starts at 6:15 pm.

UFC Hall of Famer Chuck Liddell will join The Norris & Davis Friday at 9:30am.  'The Iceman' will host an over-21 party at Torrent Night Club in Towson Friday night from 9-Midnight.  Tickets are $20 and available at missiontix.com.
