Police: Woman Stuns Man In Fight Outside Lodge

BRUNSWICK, Md. (AP) -- Police say a 52-year-old woman is facing charges after she used a stun gun during a fight outside the Brunswick Moose Lodge.

The Frederick News-Post reports that officers were called to the lodge on Potomac Street early Sunday for a report of a fight involving a stun gun and Brunswick police say they met a man who told them a woman had stunned him.

Court documents state that a lodge employee told officers that 52-year-old Linda Burgess, used a stun gun on the man, who had been arguing with her son, and fled. Officers arrested Burgess at her home and she was charged with first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.

She was released Monday on $25,000 bail.
