Documents: Student Brought 'Kill List' To School

BOONSBORO, Md. (AP) -- Court documents show that a 16-year-old boy brought two knives and a "kill list" with him to Boonsboro High School during an incident that led to him being charged with second-degree assault.

The victim's father provided the documents to The Herald-Mail of Hagerstown. The boy's case was adjudicated in juvenile court, records for which are not made available to the public.

A report prepared by the Washington County Sheriff's Office shows that the boy had two knives in his possession during the Jan. 15 incident. One was 7 1/2 inches long and another was 4 1/2 inches long.

The report says investigators also found a piece of paper with the heading "kill list." It included the names of eight students and explanations for why they were on the list.
