Man Answering Craigslist Ad Robbed In Maryland

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Anne Arundel County police say a 24-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint when he arrived at a Severn home to purchase a dirt bike advertised on Craigslist.

Police say it happened Saturday around 5 p.m. in the 1800-block of Oriole Court. The man told police that he saw four men standing in the area of the home and two men approached him before he could get to the house. One of the men allegedly pointed a gun at the victim and the second demanded he empty his pockets. Both men were said to be wearing ski masks.

After the robbery, the man ran back to his car and all four suspects fled on foot. Police say the address listed in the posting was a vacant home.
