Woman Killed In Double Shooting Inside East Baltimore Nail Salon

BALTIMORE (WJZ)--One person is dead after a double shooting inside an East Baltimore nail salon.

Police responded to the 3300-block of E. Monument Street for a report of a shooting around 4:40 p.m. Monday.

Officers found two shooting victims inside a nail salon. A 26-year-old man was shot in the leg. A 34-year-old woman was shot in the head.

Both victims were transported to area hospitals for treatment. The woman died from her injures at the hospital.

Witnesses pinned down the suspect until police arrived, according to WJZ's media partner, The Baltimore Sun.

The investigation continues.
