Frederick Community College Names New President

FREDERICK, Md. (AP) — Frederick Community College says it has found its next president.

The Board of Trustees on Tuesday named Elizabeth Burmaster as president, effective Aug. 18. Burmaster has been president of Nicolet College in Wisconsin since 2009.

She succeeds Doug Browning, who has been president since early 2013. Browning was named interim president after Frederico Talley left for undisclosed reasons in January 2013 after just six months on the job.
