Brent Harris covers the Baltimore Ravens for Comcast Sportsnet Mid-Atlantic.
Brent joined Ed and Steve to talk about the Preakness, the Belmont, and the Baltimore Ravens.
Brent started out by talking about being over at Pimlico and talking to Art Sherman the trainer for California Chrome and the nasal strip issue. Brent said the nasal strip story is not an issue and that the only way California Chrome doesn’t run in the Belmont is a serious injury. Brent also talked about the nasal strips opening up the horses nose and possibly giving an advantage but no more than ankle tape and blinders on the horse.
Brent also talked about being out for the Ravens first rookie mini-camp with the new draft picks and undrafted players. Brent talked about the Ravens veterans being in great attendance and how that helped to make the rookies very comfortable. Brent talked about Michael Campanaro and how he is the type of receiver the Ravens have never had being a slot guy like a Wes Welker type.
