WEATHER BLOG: Quiet Forecast

c We topped out around 67 degrees on both Saturday and Sunday for our high temperature at BWI-Marshall. Today, we are forecasting highs in the low/mid 70s with ample sunshine… a very quiet forecast will persist through Tuesday night. High pressure is firmly in control today and will dominate the forecast into tonight bringing mostly clear skies and lows in the upper 40s. By tomorrow, clouds will be on the increase out ahead of our next storm system. Rain chances will increase overnight Tuesday with the best chance for showers and/or t-storms Wednesday afternoon. A few showers may linger into Thursday morning, but overall the midweek rainfall should not be excessive. We will take the rain though with warmer temps and near 80 by Wednesday and Thursday.
