ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Maryland candidates running for governor released their latest campaign fundraising reports on Tuesday.

Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown, who received a boost from an appearance by former President Bill Clinton at a fundraiser in Potomac earlier this month, has about $4.2 million cash on hand. Brown and his running mate Ken Ulman report raising more than $11 million during the 2014 election cycle.

Del. Heather Mizeur, who also is running in the Democratic primary, is using public campaign financing. Her campaign reported having about $1 million with qualified matching money from the state.

Attorney General Doug Gansler reported having $3.1 million in cash on hand.

Republican Larry Hogan has the biggest fundraising edge in the GOP primary, according to his filing. Hogan, who is using public campaign financing, reports having about $389,200 cash on hand.

Harford County Executive David Craig reported having about $144,000 cash on hand. Del. Ron George, who also is seeking the GOP nomination reported having about $40,000 cash on hand.

Craig and George both complained last week to the state elections board about Hogan’s use of a political group he heads called Change Maryland to help raise money. Hogan has said he conferred with board officials and purchased the group’s assets before registering to run.

Republican Charles Lollar reported raising about $55,000 for the period, and he has about $18,000 cash on hand.

The latest fundraising reporting period covers Jan, 9 through May 20. Maryland’s primary is scheduled for June 24.
