WEATHER BLOG: Picture Perfect Father's Day
After a yucky pattern this week, a fine and sunny weekend has come into play! The rest of the weekend is still looking as nice as expected.
An upper trough lifts out and high pressure moves in from our west. Clouds will continue to clear out Saturday evening and the rest of the night will turn out clear and cool. Father's Day will feature sunshine with a warmer afternoon as the humidity remains low with winds on the light side. High pressure will start to move east on Monday, and a southwest flow of warm and more humid air will return. A short wave approaching from the west will then likely trigger some thunderstorms in western and central parts of the state Monday and Monday night.
