BasketballInsiders.com writer Steve Kyler joined Glenn Younes and Bob Haynie on Sports Rehab to recap the NBA Finals and discuss what the likely moves will be for the Miami Heat and Carmelo Anthony this summer.
After losing the series in just five games against the San Antonio Spurs, the Heat have quite a few personnel questions to answer going into this summer’s free agency.
It has been rumored that New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony might join LeBron and Co. in Miami, but Kyler describes that as unlikely.
“There’s just too much money at stake in New York for Carmelo. I really think the rumors of him going to Chicago or Houston are mostly warning shots for Phil Jackson to get something done,” said Kyler.
