WEATHER BLOG: The Storms May Not Be Over Yet

I am going to share with you a Facebook post from a friend that will sum up the overnight storms the best:

"Thanks to the storm for leaving me without power...mid-shower...and to the same storm that made enough lightning for me to be able to see to finishing shaving my legs. THAT was interesting."

And we may not be over yet. There might yet be another few episodes of rain during the late morning and midday hours. Then, again, later on gusty weather is again possible.

At least we've broken the back of this heat, but humidity remains.

To be honest, the weather won't really calm down until Sunday, but Friday might not be a bad afternoon. Expect more showers/t-storms on Saturday.

Summer begins just before 7 on Saturday. Given this week, I think we are ready for it!
