Bill Ladson Covers The Washington Nationals Talks Orioles Nationals Rivalry

Bill Ladson (@washingnats), who has covered the Washington Nationals for 12 years for MLB.com, talks with Scott and Jeremy on 105.7 The Fan.

The Nationals have a great bull pen right and now and great pitching staff. Ladson says the Nats have "the best rotation," he has ever covered. The "best rotation" he has ever covered.

The Nats have the best line up right now. Anthony Rendon is a very consistent hitter. He is far better than what people have expected and has several RBIs coming from the guy. He can play both third and second base very well. He will be the Nats future third baseman.

Doug Fister, pitcher for the Nats, missed the first month because of an injury. He does not strike out many people but gets the job done with ground balls.

Stephen Strasberg, another pitcher for the Nats has great talent but also has had a few injuries. Inconsistencies? Ladson sure does not think so. He is not the ace, that is Jordan Zimmermann. Ladson says that "he has figured out his mechanics, which is going to help him keep going."

What about that Nationals and Orioles rivalry? Could there be one? Does not look like the Nationals and Orioles will have a rivalry, but there sure might be potential later in the season though.
