WEATHER BLOG: The Weekend Is Here!

Temperatures Friday will reach into the low and middle 80s and although the forecast has depicted a mixture of clouds and sun for the afternoon, farther north away from the city could see more sunshine as clouds begin to break up throughout the day.

Partly sunny skies are expected for Saturday, and the chance for heavy thunderstorms come on Sunday and Monday as a cold front will begin to slowly work into the region.

Tuesday brings the threat of thunderstorms that have the potential to be strong to severe in nature as the front will sweep across the area.

Improvements will start on Wednesday as cooler and drier air works in behind the departing cold front, allowing for more sunny and comfortable conditions to settle across the region.
