Teen In Serious Condition After Train Accident

HARFORD COUNTY, Md. (WJZ) -- A teenager remains in serious condition after a train accident in Harford County.

Tracey Leong has the latest.

The Harford County Sheriff's Office got the call a little after 6 p.m. Sunday.

They say an 18-year-old fell from a train on the CSX rail line near Clayton Road in Joppa.

The sheriff's office believes the teen was riding the train illegally.

He was taken to Hopkins Bayview in serious condition.

His family has been notified but the teen is not being identified at this time.

The sheriff's office is warning people that it is illegal and dangerous to play or walk along train tracks.

He is currently listed in serious but stable condition.
