76-Year-Old Boater Found Dead After Going Rowing In Md.
EASTON, Md. (WJZ/AP) -- A missing 76-year-old boater on the Eastern Shore has been found dead.
The body of Alan Myers was found Sunday morning in Broad Creek.
Maryland Natural Resources Police have been searching Broad Creek in Talbot County for the man, who went rowing on Saturday morning and did not return. His boat was recovered.
Myers was not wearing a life jacket.
Officials used patrol boats, K-9s, divers and sonar equipment to assist in the search.
The state Medical Examiner's Office will perform an autopsy to determine his cause of death.
