Rob Neyer of joined Glenn and Bob on Sports Rehab to talk AL East baseball, review the big deals at the trade deadline and the Orioles.

The Orioles have regained the four game lead in the AL East that they had coming out of the All-Star break. Chris Davis and Nelson Cruz are slumping but the starting pitching has been very good for the past month or so. The Orioles entered tonight’s series against Toronto with a 63-48 record which puts them on pace for a 90-plus win season.

Bob asked Rob how surprised he was by the Orioles play to this point of the season. “On a scale of 1-10, I’ll say and 8. I still don’t see an true ace pitcher in the rotation and I believe that this will keep them from advance far in the postseason.”
