Former NFL player and Baltimore native Keion Carpenter joined Glenn and Bob on sports Rehab to talk NFL training camp and preview the Ravens preseason opener against the 49ers.
John Harbaugh will lead his Ravens against his brother’s San Francisco 49ers squad Thursday night at M&T Bank Stadium in the preseason opener for both squads. One of the Ravens big offseason moves was bringing in Steve Smith who spent his entire career with the Carolina Panthers. Smith is expected to bring a level of toughness that the many feel the Ravens missed in 2013. When asked what to expect from Smith this season, Carpenter replied “his toughness and leadership is needed on this team. I expect him to have a big impact on the Ravens offense.”
