Johnny Manziel is in the news once again. During Monday night's game against the Washington Redskins, Manziel gave an obscene gesture toward the Redskins sideline. Manziel is in a quarterback battle with Brian Hoyer for the starting spot. Manziel had a rough night vs the Redskins including being sacked three times and just completing 7 of 16 passes for 65 yards. Manziel did throw one touchdown pass. When asked about the Manziel situation, Carpenter replied "I'm hoping his off the field shenanigans don't effect his on the field performance."
