Jeffry Todd Of MLBtradeRumors.com Joins Scott And Jeremy To Discuss Possible Trade Rumors

Jeffry Todd of MLBtradeRumors.com joins Scott and Jeremy to discuss possible trade rumors by contenders as the regular season winds down.

Although the major trade deadline passed and most moves have been made, Todd still sees some minor moves being made by contenders down the stretch.
"I think there's probably going to be another move or two. The team to watch right now is the Angels. They could pick up an arm after losing Richards for the season," said Todd.
"Bartolo Colon could certainly be an option for them, depending on how much they'd be willing to part with," Todd added.
What's more, it's been rumored that the Baltimore Orioles might make a move to acquire a third basemen as Manny Machado's season is officially over, but the asking price for someone premeire might be far too high for them.

"I don't see the Rangers moving [Beltre]. Under the circumstances it's just really blurry as to what what [Baltimore] can do. They'll just stick with who they have because Davis has clearly seized the opportunity," said Todd.

In fact, the Orioles as a team have seized the opportunity of pulling ahead in the AL east, given that the competition has been weaker than expected.
"I think it's surprising there hasn't been more competition at the top. It's not surprising they're in contention, but the other teams [have] surprised me," said Todd.

Although the Orioles do have somewhat of a stronghold on first place, the AL central is much closer than Baltimore's division.
"It could still go either way," said Todd. "The Royals have a game and half on them, and Detroit has the better roster and they could still pull away with the division. But their rotation is shallow now. They might lose a couple due to that and it could be the difference."
