Keith Cavanaugh of the Terrapin Times joined Glenn and Bob on Sports Rehab to preview the 2014 season opener for the Maryland Terrapins as they will take on James Madison this coming Saturday at Byrd Stadium.
The 2014 football season gets underway for the Maryland Terps this coming Saturday at Bryd Stadium against James Madison. Maryland looks to avoid the injury bug that has plagued them in recent years and improve on last seasons 7-6 final record. Wide Receivers Deon Long and Stefon Diggs both return from injuries and 6th year senior CJ Brown returns at quarterback to lead the offense. Depth and inexperience are prevalent at the offense line and tight ends spots. When asked about the prospects of the Terps offense in 2014, Cavanaugh replied “The offense has the potential to be explosive with Long and Diggs back. CJ Brown has to get the ball out quickly to the playmakers.”
