Two Dead, Two Wounded in Three Separate Shootings In Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- Two men are killed and another is wounded in three separate shootings in Baltimore on Monday night and Tuesday morning.

A man was shot in the head at 776 Linnard Street at around 9:53 p.m. on Monday night. When officers arrived they found the man with a gunshot wound to his head. He was later pronounced dead at an area hospital. A women was also shot while attempting to enter the home during the incident. She was shot in the stomach and has been treated and released.

Just after 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday officers responded to 4747 Park Heights Avenue for the report of a shooting. Officers arrived and discovered a man suffering from gunshot wounds to the head. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead. A preliminary investigation has revealed that an unknown suspect approached the victim who had been sitting on his front porch. The suspect then pulled out a handgun and shot the victim multiple times.

At around 2:25 a.m. a man walked into an area hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. Police responded to the hospital and interviewed the suspect who stated that he was in the 3000 block of Oakford Avenue when he was shot. The victim is currently in the hospital recovering from non-life threatening injuries.
