Keith Cavanugh of Terrapin Times joined Bob and Glenn on Sports Rehab to recap Maryland’s season opening win over James Madison as well as football and basketball recruiting.
Randy Edsall’s Maryland Terrapins opened the season with a 52-7 win over James Madison this past weekend at Byrd Stadium. Now the Terps hit the road for week two of the 2014 season as the will take on South Florida. The big news coming out of the game is the lost of redshirt freshman receiver Taivon Jacbos to a season ending knee injury. The news hurts the Terps at a position in which they already have depth issues. Junior Marcus Leak will replace Jacobs as the 3rd receiver on the Terps offense. “Its blow when have three receivers leave before the season starts but they still were ranked as the top receiving corp in the Big Ten. They have plenty of options” explained Cavanaugh.
