WEATHER BLOG: Last Forecast Before Hip Surgery

Well this will be the last MB weather blog for a while, as Thursday I am having my left hip replaced. Let me bring you behind the scenes. I have been in pain and limping around for almost two years. At first I thought I had just hurt myself in the gym, but it soon became apparent that my left hip was going bad with arthritis. (Besides all the abuse it got form years of running and being a gym rat, I inherited "Mr. Arthur" from my dad. He was crippled with arthritis in both hips. Thanks for the present, Pop-LOL!) It's all good. I have a job. I have health insurance. I have short term disability. Even with surgery pending I am way ahead of a lot of folks, and if this is the biggest "pain" I have today I am having a fine Wednesday. That is how I look  at it, and feel. Believe it.

Figure I am gone four to six weeks. I am really working to get back in four to be honest. Bob, Chelsea and Tim are all taking up the slack, and I want to heal quickly, but properly, and let them get back to their normal schedules and lives. (Tim will be dong the  morning show with Linh in my absence.)

As for the weather, it looks pretty nice. Clouds will break up this morning and we will have a pretty sunny, milder afternoon. Tuesday we were in the mid 90s, Wednesday the mid 80's with slightly lower humidity.

Temps will hang in the mid to upper 80s through Saturday, and then a cold front comes through Saturday night and we will return to very spring-like conditions for Sunday and Monday, with high temps in the upper 70s. (Perfect weather for the Ravens home opener!)

Yah'll be well, safe and have fun. See ya soon. I will be easy to spot. I will be the dude not limping around any longer in Studio A.
