Four Men Charged With the Shooting Death Of A 20-Year-Old Parkville Man

Parkville, Md. (WJZ)-- Baltimore County Police charged four men in connection with the Aug. 17 shooting at the Welcome Inn that killed one man.

Umar Foust, 22, Nathaniel Lawrence, 20, Pompey Lawrence, 21, and Jermell Foster, 19, have all been charged with first degree murder.

The shooting occurred just before 11 p.m. on Aug. 17 at the Welcome Inn in the 8700 block of Loch Bend Drive. When officers arrived to the location they discovered Ramel Baker, 20, lying in the alley suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Baker was then transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Police believe that the suspects walked up to Baker and shot him in the alley. The suspects and Baker were believed to have been involved in some sort of on-going dispute.

All four suspects are being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
