WEATHER BLOG: Lower Humidity

The most recent cold front is now to our south and with high pressure in place we can look forward to a nice day with lower humidity and a comfortable afternoon. This will be short-lived as an upper feature moves eastward from the Great Lakes Friday into the east Saturday.

Clouds will increase Friday night ahead of the system, and rain will break out during the day Saturday. Now this system could move through quickly and the end of the day may turn brighter and drier.

This system does exit eastward at night and Sunday will end up being a very nice day as high pressure returns. This pattern lasts into the day Monday, but the next system will probably spread showers to the area Monday night and that will continue into Tuesday morning before yet another high pressure arrives for the day Wednesday.

Other than that, the one side note is that temperatures will be below average through the weekend into next week. Normal highs this time of year are in the upper 70s to near 80s.
