Thousands Hit The Pavement For 8th Annual Zero Prostate Cancer Challenge
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A new case of prostate cancer is diagnosed every two and a half minutes. Now Chesapeake Urology is fighting back.
As part our continuing community commitment, WJZ is a proud sponsor of the eighth annual Zero Prostate Cancer Challenge.
Marcus Washington was there as thousands of runners hit the pavement. The 10K run at Johny Unitas Stadium raises awareness and funds to end prostate cancer.
The event also promotes the importance of annual exams.
If diagnosed and treated early, the cure is almost 100 percent.
