Its been a bad week off the field in the NFL. First the league had to deal with the Ray Rice situation and now they are dealing with the allegations of child abuse by Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson. According to a Houston TV station, Peterson was accused of a previous incident when his son was four years old. A report was filed with Child Protective Services but no formal charges were ever filed. When asked about the situation, Carpenter replied "You have to look at the total picture. You're going to have to let it play out."
