Thousands More Return Ray Rice Jerseys Saturday

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Thousands of fans showed up Saturday morning to exchange their Ray Rice jerseys.

According to officials, more than 7,000 people showed up Saturday to exchange their jerseys.

Only 5,000 people were anticipated, and so they ran out of jerseys.

Officials say 5,995 jerseys were exchanged. The others got vouchers and will be able to pick up their new jerseys on October 25.

Thousands waited Friday as well to trade in their Ray Rice jerseys at M&T Bank Stadium.
