WEATHER BLOG: Perfect Weekend

We have enjoyed a nearly perfect weekend with temperatures reminiscent of summertime. Highs both days made it above 80 degrees and sunshine was abundant. Today, other than a few more clouds, was basically a carbon copy of Saturday's weather, making it an excellent weekend for soccer matches, college and pro football games, tailgating, cookouts, you name it! The weather will be changing as we begin the work-week with more clouds and limited sunshine. Highs on Monday will be in the mid to upper 70s. Lower levels in the atmosphere will be quite dry on Monday, so chances for rain will be higher for areas south of the region. A few showers can be expected Tuesday afternoon and Tuesday night with clouds lingering through Wednesday.
